We use it to  cover food<\/strong>  , sometimes to cook it, although over the years we have always heard that  it should not actually be used in the oven<\/strong>  or in contact with certain foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it is always useful even  for simply freezing<\/strong>  or preserving food. Therefore, doing without it  is really difficult,<\/strong>  if not impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently,  Italians have discovered a very clever trick:<\/strong>  by adding aluminium foil to the dishwasher, just a sheet, or a ball, is enough to obtain perfectly clean and shiny pans, dishes and cutlery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this case,  the film prevents marks and encrustations from forming<\/strong>  on the dishes. This trick works, it’s really good, but it can also be useful  in the washing machine,<\/strong>  for a completely different reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aluminum foil, if placed in the washing machine, turns out to be a housewife’s ally<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aluminium foil inserted into the drum of the washing machine  allows you to obtain soft and perfect clothes<\/strong>  thanks to a unique property. Aluminium foil  prevents the formation of static electricity<\/strong>  between the fibres of the clothes. Static electricity is a phenomenon that  gives us an electric shock<\/strong>  every time we get out of the car, or that  makes our hair stand on end when we take off a jumper<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electricity forms between clothes even in the washing machine, we see the effect as soon as the clothes are dry: it is impossible to iron them. This is the result that nobody wants to achieve, but there is a very simple remedy: the ball of aluminum foil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ball  makes ironing clothes very simple<\/strong>  and easy, as it prevents them from wrinkling during the spin cycle. In addition,  the fibres are much softer<\/strong>  than normal, especially in the case of wool and cotton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use it in the washing machine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Taking precautions is essential. In the meantime, you should make sure that the ball is well compacted, otherwise  it will fall apart during the spin cycle<\/strong>  . The result can be particularly problematic, because if the foil tears and ends up around the drum,  it becomes impossible to remove it from the washing machine and from the clothes themselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also need to change our habits, because in both winter and summer we all make the mistake of reducing drying times.  The spin cycle is always set to maximum<\/strong>  , so that clothes, towels, sheets and anything else come out of the washing machine dry in an average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is wrong, both because everything that is subjected to a high spin cycle is damaged, and because once hung up they dry poorly. The result is always the same:  once you try to iron them it takes a lot of effort. <\/strong> In addition, some garments are not even ironed properly because the most important wrinkles remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aluminum as a softener saves us a lot of money<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aluminium is considered by all housewives who have already discovered it some time ago, a  natural and inexpensive fabric softener<\/strong>  . The aluminium ball not only ensures that clothes are not damaged in the washing machine, but also lasts all year round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that you only need to  prepare a small ball of aluminium foil<\/strong>  and use it in the washing machine every day for 365 days to always get the same result. There is no risk of it not working, at most it will get damaged or broken by heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
