As useful and practical as they are, so much so that they are considered a real revolution in the clothing industry, zippers  have<\/strong>  only one flaw: they often break easily and seem almost impossible to repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is especially unpleasant if it is a zipper on a pair of pants, or perhaps a newly purchased jacket or bag. In these cases, it is always good to be able to rely on an  instant repair trick<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A  broken or stuck zipper<\/strong>  can be a real pain, but there are several solutions and we suggest the most effective ones below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Cursor that has gone out of the chain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Use pliers to hold the chain in place, while using a screwdriver to open the appropriate space on the slider where the chain should pass through. The opening should be small enough for the chain teeth to fit through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once both parts are inserted, lightly press the slider to join all the elements together and secure them, then move it up and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Broken extractor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, due to wear and tear, the puller, which is the metal piece we grab to open the zipper, can break or come off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a screwdriver to lift up the part where the handle is attached, to insert a thin piece of fabric that will replace the handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Stuck zipper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A zipper can get stuck for a number of reasons, but one trick that works in almost all cases is to put a little Vaseline or lip balm between the zipper teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This should be enough to unblock a stuck hinge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Teeth that have fallen out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You need glue, a cotton swab, and scissors. Cut the plastic tube of the cotton swab into very small pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
