When we do not take care of our taps, we discover stains that are not very aesthetic. To descale the taps, whether it is the aerator, the shower head, the mixer or other, do not think right away about buying specific or corrosive products as well as specific materials, because it can be done easily and in an ecological way. Did you know that you can do it using only lemon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 \u2013 LEMON AS A NATURAL DESCALER<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Lemon has long been used as a descaler. To make your taps shine, cut a fresh lemon in half and rub your scaled taps with the pulp side, as if you were using a sponge. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing to remove the lemon juice and limescale. Then dry with a clean cloth to avoid any traces of water. If the layer of limescale is superficial, soak a sponge in lemon juice and simply rub. For aerators, water-saving grids and tap tips, attach the lemon directly to them and leave to act overnight. But you can also disassemble the parts and soak them in lemon water, first removing the seals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let’s first see how to use lemon juice, which has a strong anti-limescale action. So just pour the lemon juice on a sponge and rub it gently on the taps, insisting on the places where the stains are most present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Alternatively, you can also spray the lemon juice directly onto the tap and leave it to act for a few hours. Finally, rinse and dry thoroughly: your taps will be free of dirt and limescale in the blink of an eye!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
In case of very stubborn stains, it is possible to combine lemon with another ingredient with anti-limescale properties: salt. In this case, we advise you to mix the lemon juice and salt in a bowl gradually until you obtain a sort of pasty mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Then apply it to the faucet and let it sit for a while, then rinse thoroughly and that’s it!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
