Mix with the sugar and spices, put in a roasting pan or other oven-safe dish and leave to draw juice for 2 hours.<br>(Alternatively, you can briefly boil the mixture in a pot to save time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Then cook in the oven at 170 degrees for about 2 hours until it thickens. During the first half to three quarters of an hour, wedge a wooden spoon into the oven door so that the moisture can escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also try:\u00a0\u00a0Plum cake with cinnamon crumble, prepared in 5 minutes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Finally, if desired, pur\u00e9e briefly with a hand blender and fill into hot, rinsed twist-off jars and seal. Turn upside down and allow to cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recipe comes from my grandmother, but she cooked it entirely with white sugar.
