Make a useful item to keep your home tidy using only plastic cups and wool thread. Here’s how.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who has never lost  a pair of hair <\/strong>clips<\/strong>  or  pins  that we had placed  who knows where<\/strong>  in a  drawer<\/strong>  ? This will no longer be a  problem<\/strong>  once you have created this  creative object<\/strong>  that will allow you  to organize your drawers<\/strong>  and not  lose<\/strong>  anything, all  by recycling<\/strong>  ! Let’s see how to do it.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why they are important: Plastic cups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Recycling  plastic cups<\/strong>  is an important way to reduce  waste<\/strong>  and  protect the environment  <\/strong>. <\/strong> When  plastic cups<\/strong>  are not  disposed of<\/strong>  properly, they end up in  landfills<\/strong>  and can take  hundreds of years<\/strong>  to degrade. However, it is possible  to recycle<\/strong>  these  cups<\/strong>  by using them to create  creative objects<\/strong>  for  everyday use<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reusing  <\/strong>plastic cups<\/strong>  in this way is a  simple and accessible<\/strong> gesture  that everyone can do to contribute to a   more   environmentally  sustainable <\/strong>lifestyle <\/strong>. <\/strong> In addition, it does not require  a great effort<\/strong>  , and it allows you to obtain  advantages<\/strong>  , for example in terms of  order<\/strong>  . An example of this is the  peg holder<\/strong>  that can be made with a  glass<\/strong>  and a  wool thread<\/strong>  . <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plastic cups and a thread \u2013 the base.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To make<\/strong> our   clothespin  holder<\/strong>  we will need: a  plastic cup<\/strong>  ,  wool thread<\/strong>  of the different colors of our choice, a  cutter<\/strong>  ,  hot glue<\/strong>  with its  gun<\/strong>  ,  glitter paper<\/strong>  and  foamiran<\/strong>  . For those who don’t  know<\/strong>  , the last “ingredient” of our  creation<\/strong>  is an  A4<\/strong>  suede  sheet<\/strong>  , and in our case we need a  sheet<\/strong>  that has a  shiny<\/strong> coating . However, these types of sheets are available in  numerous colors and prints<\/strong>  , not necessarily  with glitter<\/strong>  , so you can choose the one  you prefer<\/strong>  .<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have all the  material<\/strong>  , take the  plastic cup<\/strong>  and use the  cutter<\/strong>  to cut the  upper<\/strong>  , more  rigid<\/strong> edge  . In order for our  clamp holder to be <\/strong>large<\/strong>  enough   , it is advisable to use a   transparent  plastic cup<\/strong>  , which is a little  larger<\/strong>  . Once you have the  edge<\/strong>  ,  you will finish it off<\/strong>  with the  cutter <\/strong>to<\/strong>  remove  any less rigid<\/strong>  plastic  residue<\/strong> , because you only need the  circumference<\/strong>  .<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point, we take our  wool thread<\/strong>  of a  color<\/strong>  of our choice and start  winding it<\/strong>  around the  circumference<\/strong>  . Once   our entire circumference  is covered , <\/strong>we glue<\/strong>  the last end of the  wool thread<\/strong>  with a dot of  hot glue<\/strong>  . After that,  we remove<\/strong>  the  excess thread<\/strong>   by cutting it with  scissors<\/strong>  . To be sure to get a  solid<\/strong>  and  well-finished<\/strong> closure  , we apply more  hot glue<\/strong>  and then make a small knot<\/strong>  , from which we remove any  excess thread<\/strong>  always helping ourselves with  scissors.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, once   the  base <\/strong>is complete<\/strong>  , we proceed to  stretch the wire  <\/strong>by interlacing it<\/strong>  . Then we stretch the thread  from one side<\/strong>  to the other of the circumference, to  cross it<\/strong>  and form a  braided star<\/strong>  . Once this  operation<\/strong> is done  , fix the thread at one  end<\/strong>  of the  circumference<\/strong>  with a small  knot<\/strong>  ,  glue it<\/strong>  with a dot of  hot glue<\/strong>  and  cut off the excess.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decorations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is where our  foamiran sheet<\/strong> comes into play  . Let’s draw  small petals<\/strong>  or  leaves<\/strong>  in the  shape<\/strong>  we prefer, at this stage we can  play with our imagination. <\/strong> We can make  3 or 4<\/strong>  of them, the important thing is to remember to make them in  double number<\/strong>  , since we will have to  glue them<\/strong>  so that the  shine<\/strong> remains  both on  the front<\/strong>  and on  the back<\/strong>  . Next,  let’s cut out<\/strong>  the shapes we have drawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we are going to take the  glitter paper leaves<\/strong>  . Let’s draw  9 flowers<\/strong>  of  different colors<\/strong>  and overlap them  3 by 3<\/strong>  using  hot glue<\/strong>  . At this point we go back to our  woven base<\/strong>  and  glue the leaves<\/strong>  we made with  foamiran<\/strong>  along the  top<\/strong>  of the  circumference<\/strong>  . Next, we place the  flowers<\/strong>  by gluing them so that  they overlap the leaves<\/strong>  , so that it gives the impression that the latter  are sprouting<\/strong>  between the  flowers<\/strong>  . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, let’s take a  fairly long piece of wire<\/strong>  with which we will create the  string<\/strong>  that will be used to  hang<\/strong>  our  clothespin holder<\/strong>  . To do this, we fix the  ends<\/strong>  of the thread with  two knots<\/strong>  around the  circumference<\/strong>  . After that, we take  woolen threads<\/strong>  of  different colors<\/strong>  and fix them at the  lower end<\/strong>  of the circumference with  small knots<\/strong>  . We should get a  rainbow of hanging threads.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hair <\/strong>clip<\/strong>  and pin  organizer <\/strong>  made from  plastic cups<\/strong>  and  wool thread<\/strong> is ready    : we can  hang it<\/strong>  in the bathroom to  attach the clips to the threads<\/strong>  so as not  to lose them<\/strong>  , or simply use it as  a decorative object<\/strong>  in the environment we prefer. <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
