{"id":238,"date":"2023-01-27T21:46:20","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T19:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.light-recipes.top\/?p=238"},"modified":"2023-01-27T21:46:21","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T19:46:21","slug":"they-inflate-like-a-balloon-just-flour-and-water","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.light-recipes.top\/?p=238","title":{"rendered":"They inflate like a balloon | Just flour and water!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dough that inflates like a balloon: just flour and water!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today&#8217;s recipe is for a very simple dough that requires little more than just water and flour and that blows up like a balloon.&nbsp;It is a preparation that comes to us from the Middle Eastern tradition: Arab bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s see how it&#8217;s done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advertising<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The dough that inflates like a balloon: just flour and water!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ingredients we need are few and basic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the tip of a teaspoon of sugar<br>300 g of flour<br>200 ml of hot water<br>enough salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The preparation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a boule we pour the sugar, a pinch of salt and the hot water.&nbsp;Let&#8217;s mix a little and then add the flour a little at a time.&nbsp;Then you turn everything around with a spatula and go on like this until you get a soft but not sticky dough.&nbsp;We go on until all the flour is incorporated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We pass the loaf we have now on a floured pastry board and work it again for another five minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this point we divide this dough into eight almost equal parts and we manipulate each of these until we give it a more or less ball shape.&nbsp;We now seal each of these balls with food film, so as to prevent the dough from drying out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After letting our good balls rest for a few minutes, we recover them, remove the film and with a rolling pin we roll them out to the thickness of a sheet of about twenty centimeters in diameter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advertising<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once this is done, we put a pan on the fire and pour the oil into it, after which, when the oil is hot, we dip our sheets.&nbsp;We let them go over medium heat until the dough begins to swell.&nbsp;When this happens, use a spoon to wet the entire surface of our &#8220;loaves&#8221; with oil, so that they get a uniform browning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clearly this goes on until there is dough to be consumed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that, we bring it to the table and enjoy this wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Good job, have fun and bon appetit!<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/1OW7siwJjrw\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The dough that inflates like a balloon: just flour and water!
