class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article we suggest some&nbsp;<strong>plants that you can keep in vases filled with water<\/strong>&nbsp;and that will last a long time.&nbsp;Of course, the plants won&#8217;t need potting soil or watering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This technique is called&nbsp;<strong>hydroculture<\/strong>&nbsp;and can be applied to many different plants.&nbsp;Below we explain, in principle, how to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first step is to remove the plant from the pot, being very careful not to damage the roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the plant in a container filled with&nbsp;<strong>room temperature water<\/strong>&nbsp;overnight.&nbsp;Then rinse the root with plenty of water to remove traces of soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put some clay in the glass container, then put the plant, add some water and a liquid fertilizer, so that the root can absorb all the nutrients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17 plants that can be kept in water<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Zebrin<\/strong>&nbsp;.&nbsp;This well-known houseplant is very decorative and can grow perfectly in water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Papyrus<\/strong>&nbsp;.&nbsp;The ancient Egyptians used it as a writing surface, but today this sweet potato in a vase of water and wait for it to produce the first leaves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tulips<\/strong>&nbsp;.&nbsp;While they are difficult to manage indoors, they too can be grown and
