{"id":5039,"date":"2023-11-21T23:08:54","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T21:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.light-recipes.top\/?p=5039"},"modified":"2023-11-21T23:08:54","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T21:08:54","slug":"how-to-multiply-sansevieria-the-indestructible-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.light-recipes.top\/?p=5039","title":{"rendered":"How to Multiply Sansevieria, the Indestructible Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/46XjT19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because plants have become an essential part of our interiors, we take care of their health to make them perfect allies, we zoom in on Sansevieria, a super resistant variety (that is to say since in certain African countries, its leaves are used for making rope and baskets) and so exotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1 \u2013 HOW TO MULTIPLY SANSEVIERIA?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Select a healthy sansevieria leaf and cut it with a sharp, disinfected knife.&nbsp;Cut the leaf into pieces of two or three centimeters, depending on the quantity of plants you want to generate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the cut ends of each leaf in rooting hormones, following the package directions.&nbsp;This step can be omitted, but the plant will take longer to produce roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Insert the cut, treated end into the rooting hormone in the potting soil, to a depth of about 1 centimeter.&nbsp;The plant has propagated successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep the plant moist and in a bright location, away from drafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sansevieria will take about a month to form roots.&nbsp;Wait at least two months before transplanting it into the final pot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2 \u2013 HOW TO MAINTAIN THIS INDOOR PLANT?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exposure:<\/strong>&nbsp;Bright light without direct sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dimensions:<\/strong>&nbsp;From 30 to 70 cm, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Watering:<\/strong>&nbsp;Once a week.&nbsp;Let the soil dry between two waterings.&nbsp;Drastically reduce watering in winter (once a month, or less if the temperature is cool).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Maintenance:<\/strong>&nbsp;Every month, or a little more often, pass a clean, damp sponge over the leaves to remove dust.&nbsp;Never milk them, as is often advised, you will only add a greasy film<br>to the foliage.&nbsp;Do not use a polishing product either, as it is too polluting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Repotting:<\/strong>&nbsp;The plant does not need too frequent repotting.&nbsp;Every 4 or 5 years, when you see that it is starting to get really cramped in its pot, give it a new container, with a diameter and depth of 3 to 5 cm greater, no more .&nbsp;The important thing is that the pot provides good stability to the plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notes: never cut the tips of the leaves, even if you find them a little prickly.&nbsp;This is where the growth point is.&nbsp;If you remove it, the development of the plant would be stopped.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Because plants have become an essential part of our interiors, we take care of their health to make them perfect allies, we zoom in on Sansevieria, a super resistant variety (that is to say since in certain African countries, its leaves are used for making rope and baskets) and so exotic. 1 \u2013 HOW TO [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":5040,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5039","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-1"],"aioseo_notices":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.14 -
