It may seem strange and absurd but it’s true:  eggshell is a panacea<\/strong>  for our tomatoes. We must never forget that the tips of expert growers are always effective and well thought out. When we try to grow a fruit, vegetable or any type of vegetable, we must never forget how necessary it is to provide them with the right nutrients. Not all the most important nutrients<\/strong>  can be obtained by absorbing water alone: \u200b\u200bthis aspect needs to be reinforced. Just like we humans take vitamin supplements to feel better, plants also need vitamins and minerals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The fundamentals are iron, zinc and magnesium. The eggshell mainly contains a very important mineral for tomatoes:  calcium<\/strong>  . Calcium is necessary for the normal development of the root system, it intervenes in cellular structures and makes them much more resistant to attacks by fungi and parasites. When calcium is lacking, we immediately notice it from  an unequivocal signal<\/strong>  : the signs of rot, this rot which gradually begins to divide the fruit in two.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

How to add eggshell to soil<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The best way to press the eggshell into the soil  is to finely chop it<\/strong>  . It should be  almost a powder<\/strong>  or flour. A spoon full of chopped shell will be enough to insert into the bottom of a fairly deep hole. We sprinkle with soil and plant our  tomato seeds<\/strong>  on top. Thanks to the presence of crushed hulls, our tomatoes will be able to receive a constant source of calcium<\/strong>  during the growth phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
