Delicious Asian salmon noodles with mushrooms and snow peas tossed in a Sriracha flavoured, honey-sesame sauce. Top it off with a perfectly flavoured and charred salmon for a filling, easy, and quick weeknight meal any time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Asian noodles:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 button mushrooms, sliced, or 1 Portobello mushroom, sliced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tbsp olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tbsp sesame seeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 green onions chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bc c. soy sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd pound pasta preferably Fettuccine (half a pound)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bc c. chicken stock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bc c. honey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 tbsp sesame oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 c. snow peas end trimmed (about 60 snow peas)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tsp Sriracha sauce, substitute with any other hot sauce if you don\u2019t have Sriracha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Asian salmon:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 lb salmon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tbsp honey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 tbsp cooking oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 tbsp soy sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">salt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>How to make Asian salmon and noodles<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Asian Noodles:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 1: In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. To the hot oil, add the chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often. Then, add the mushrooms and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat when done, then add the soy sauce, honey, chicken stock, sesame oil, Sriracha. Stir well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 2: Boil the snow peas in a different pan for about 3 to 5 minutes or until tender but still crunchy. Drain when done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 3: Cook the pasta following the package directions in a large pan with salted boiling water until al dente. Drain the pasta when done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 4: To the vegetables and sauce, add the drained snow peas and pasta. Stir well and cook over medium-low heat until heated through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Asian salmon:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 5: Prepare the broiler. Preheat it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 6: To the hot large skillet over high heat, add the oil. In the meantime, season the salmon generously with salt and pepper on the non-skin side. Add the salmon to the hot skillet, skin-side up, and sear for about 4 minutes. Mover the salmon around the pan to ensure the oil coats the surface of the fish and it does not stick while searing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 7: Flip the fish after 4 minutes and sear the other side for 2 minutes more over high heat. If you do not like to eat the skin, you can remove it easily after searing the salmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 8: Combine the honey and soy sauce. Slightly heat the mixture in the microwave or on the stovetop to soften the honey. Brush the salmon with this, then broil for about 3 minutes. Midway through broiling, brush the salmon with more sauce if desired.
