Make a T-shaped cut in the stem of the mother plant (rootstock).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make the Cuts:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make a clean, quick cut to minimize tissue damage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure the cuts are as precise as possible so that the inner layers of the crust match up correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Graft the Rose:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Insert the cut end of the rose you are grafting into the T-shaped incision on the stem of the rootstock.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure the graft with grafting tape or garden tape.
