You will surely have seen this curious yellow, almost transparent brick<\/strong> in the supermarket and wondered what it is for. To many of us, yellow soap<\/strong> reminds us of our grandmothers, because it was widely used in their time, especially for doing laundry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This excellent product has now gone out of fashion, replaced by modern cleaning products, but many of us still appreciate its usefulness and effectiveness. Mostly used for washing laundry, yellow soap is<\/strong> actually very useful for cleaning the whole house .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yellow soap is prepared from coconut oil<\/strong> and can be found in supermarkets, almost always under the “Alga” brand, it costs very little and, as you will see, it is an extremely versatile and useful product in household chores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do your laundry with a bar of soap<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Moisten the stubborn stain on your clothes with a little water and rub it with a small piece of yellow soap to pre-treat it before doing the laundry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place a small piece of soft soap inside the drum and start a normal wash cycle. In addition to being spotless and stain-free, your laundry will also have a delicious scent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liquid laundry detergent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bring two pieces of soft soap in half a liter of water to the boil in a saucepan. Once it reaches the boil, remove from the stove and let cool. Pour the liquid into a bottle, perhaps adding an essential oil of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The laundry detergent is ready. To use it, just pour a little into the appropriate drawer of the washing machine, as if it were a normal detergent. Also add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda for even cleaner laundry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surface degreaser<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yellow soap is also very useful for cleaning the house and removing grease from surfaces. Follow the same process as for liquid detergent, but this time using only a bar of soap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the liquid cool and pour it into a bottle with a spray diffuser and add some water. If you want to make the degreaser also disinfectant, add a few drops of tea tree oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protect plants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dissolve 20 grams of yellow soap in half a liter of hot water, then spray directly on the plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This remedy is very effective in repelling insects and parasites such as scale insects and red spiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
