Soft Orange Cake Extra Fondant

Discover this recipe soft cake with extra fondant orange. Maximum pleasure with this delicious extra melting softness with a good orange taste that melts directly in your mouth!


  • 16 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 10 tablespoons oil
  • 16 tbsp orange juice
  • Orange zest
  • 10 tablespoons of flour
  • 6 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 sachet of baking powder
  • Syrup: 1 glass of sugar, 1 glass of orange juice, Zest of an orange.
  • Orange slices for garnish


  1. Blanch the whole eggs and the sugar, then add the oil, the juice and the zest without ceasing to beat.
  2. Gently fold in the sifted flour, cornstarch and baking powder using a wooden spatula.
  3. Pour into a buttered and floured mold and bake for 35 – 40 minutes at 180°C.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the syrup, leave to cook for 10 minutes. Take the cake out of the oven and drizzle with warm syrup.
  5. Decorate with the orange pieces of your choice. Good preparation.
