just mix it with lemon and stop spending (did you know that?)
homemade collagen emulsion made from cucumber and parsley. These two natural ingredients, rich in vitamins and antioxidants, act deep down to hydrate your skin cells, restore firmness and radiance to the skin, while preserving its elasticity. You will be surprised to see how much this ancestral remedy can do wonders!
Ingredients
1 cucumber
1 bunch of parsley
150 ml of water (about 5 fluid ounces)
1/2 lemon
2 teaspoons of milk
Why these ingredients?
Cucumber: Rich in water and nutrients, it helps hydrate the epidermis and refresh the complexion.
Parsley: Its high vitamin C and antioxidant content helps stimulate the natural production of collagen and fight against skin aging.
Lemon: An additional source of vitamin C, it helps to brighten and even out the complexion, while slightly tightening pores.
Milk: Thanks to lactic acid, it promotes light exfoliation and gives a creamy texture to this emulsion.
How to prepare this emulsion?
Wash the cucumber and parsley carefully.
Cut the cucumber into pieces (removing the skin if you prefer a smoother appearance).
Blend the cucumber with the parsley and 150 ml of water until you obtain a smooth puree.
Filter the mixture if necessary to remove any thick fibers.
Then add the juice of half a lemon and the 2 teaspoons of milk.
Gently mix everything together to obtain a creamy consistency.
How to use it?
Application: On clean, make-up-free skin, apply the emulsion in a thin layer and leave on for about fifteen minutes.
Massage: To optimize the penetration of the active ingredients, massage lightly with your fingertips, in circular movements.
Rinse: Then rinse with lukewarm water and dry your face by gently patting with a clean towel.
Tip: For an ultra-fresh sensation, place the emulsion in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes before using it.
