Revive Dead Batteries with Just a Spoonful of Salt!

Materials

• 1 tablespoon edible salt (can be coarse or fine).
• 150 ml of hot water.
• Pot to boil the water.
• A heat-resistant container.
• Stirring tool (such as a spoon).
• Paper towels.
• Batteries discharged.

Procedure

1. Prepare the saline
   solution Boil water in a pot and pour 150 ml into a heatproof container. Add a tablespoon of edible salt and stir until completely dissolved. Salt is key, as it improves ionic conduction within the battery.
2. Submerging the batteries
   Place the batteries in the saline solution. Gently stir with a tool to ensure that the salt reaches all points of the battery. This allows the internal components to react correctly.
3. Let it
   sit Leave the batteries in the solution for 15 to 20 minutes. This time is enough for the electrolyte solution to activate again the chemical reactions necessary to generate electrical energy.
4. Dry the batteries
   Remove the batteries from the container and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Make sure to remove all moisture to avoid oxidation issues at the positive and negative poles.
5. Test the battery
   Place the battery in the appropriate device and check if it is working properly. If the process was successful, it should be ready for use.
