How to prepare baking soda tablets to disinfect and clean the toilet thoroughly
When we talk about keeping the bathroom clean, we immediately think of the myriad of chemical and industrial products that can be purchased in any supermarket or dedicated store.
However, it is not always necessary to resort to this type of household cleaning products which, in addition to polluting the environment, are also very harmful to our health.
Below we explain how to prepare ecological tablets based on baking soda to disinfect and thoroughly clean the toilet without having to resort to chemicals.
Baking soda is a powerful disinfectant ingredient, which is not harmful to our health at all and is completely environmentally friendly. Mostly used in the kitchen and in natural remedies, baking soda is also an excellent ally for domestic cleaning.
To prepare the lozenges you need: 240 grams of baking soda, 50 drops of essential oil to taste, 120 ml of lemon juice and water.
You’ll also need some non-stick silicone molds, a spoon, a clean container, and a spray diffuser bottle.
Pour the lemon juice and baking soda into a bowl, then sprinkle the essential oil on top, stirring well. If the mixture is too “creamy”, add a tablespoon or two of water. The result should be neither too liquid nor too thick.
Pour the mixture into the molds and let them dry for at least 24 hours. Once dry, store the baking soda tablets in an airtight container and wait another 48 hours before using them.
Use pads in the same way as industrial pads.
