How to get rid of calluses on the feet in a few hours with baking soda

By Vitia

Although they are uncomfortable and, sometimes, painful, calluses form to protect the skin from pressure or friction. They appear more frequently on the feet, and can be annoying to the point of preventing us from walking.

Below we suggest an excellent baking soda remedy to eliminate calluses, and prevent their appearance. Baking soda, simple and within everyone’s reach, is one of the most effective remedies.

Ingredients of the callus remedy: 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 liter of hot water, humectant cream, a few drops of lavender oil.

Before you begin, wash your feet well with soap and water. Put the hot water in a bowl, then add the baking soda and stir to dissolve. Pour a few drops of lavender oil as well.

Dip your feet into the basin and leave them for about 15 to 20 minutes. After the allotted time, remove your feet from the basin and rub your heels with a pumice stone.

Finally, dry your feet thoroughly and apply a moisturizer. Alternatively, you can use coconut oil. Repeat the treatment once or twice a week.
