How to make a DIY liquid stain remover detergent: up to 12 liters with few ingredients

With the cost of living skyrocketing, laundry products have not been left behind and have reached sky-high prices. This can weigh heavily on the family economy, especially in larger families.

In this article we explain how to prepare a liquid detergent with few ingredients, capable of leaving the laundry very clean and fragrant, and with a wonderful stain removing action.

To get started, get the following ingredients:

  • 3 large bars of yellow soap
  • 1 large pot (5 liters)
  • 1 liter of white vinegar
  • 50 grams of baking soda
  • 2 and a half liters of water (for boiling)

Method:

  1. Pour the water into the pot and start heating.
  2. Add the soap cut into pieces and mix well. Simmer for about 2 hours, until the soap has dissolved completely.
  3. Add the vinegar and baking soda.
  4. Turn off the stove and let cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Pour liquid detergent into plastic bottles, taking care to fill them only up to 1/3 of their capacity).
  6. Pour water into bottles, having as proportions 1 part detergent and 2 parts water (for example, for every 100 ml of detergent, 200 ml of water).
  7. Let it sit for about 12 hours before using.
  8. Caution: Do not add essential oils to flavor the detergent.
