Materials

1. Chrome blades (at least 4 units)
2. Two-wire cable (from old appliances)
3. Screws and nuts
4. Heat Shrink Tubing
5. Electrical plug
6. Pliers and knife for stripping wires
7. Gloves (for hand protection)

Step-by-step instructions

1. Preparation of the materials:

• Strip the outer sheath of the two-strand cable, leaving conductors approximately 10 cm long.
• Remove the insulation from the ends of the conductors (5 cm each).
• Twist the conductors to facilitate their handling.

2. Antenna formation:

• Take two chrome blades and join them with screws.
• Place a heat shrink tube between the blades as insulation.
• Repeat the process with the rest of the blades, creating a multi-layer structure.

3. Cable connection:

• Fix a conductor at one end of the knife structure, securing it with pliers.
• Fix the second conductor at the opposite end of the structure in the same way.

4. Connecting to the TV:

• Remove the electrical plug and connect both conductors to their respective terminals.
• Reassemble the plug.
• Connect the antenna to the TV through the corresponding input.

Tips to improve the signal:

• Use as many layers of blades as possible (at least 4).
• Place the antenna in an area free of metal objects.
• Make sure all contacts are firmly secured.
• Experiment with antenna placement to achieve the best signal reception.
• Use a coaxial cable instead of a common two-wire cable to improve the connection.
